Swift Bacon Ranch Chicken

Swift is a multi-paradigm, compiled programming language created by Apple Inc. for iOS and OS X development. Swift is designed to work with Apple’s Cocoa and Cocoa Touch frameworks and the large body of existing Objective-C code written for Apple products. Swift is intended to be safer than Objective-C, and also more concise. It is built with the LLVM compiler framework included in Xcode 6, and uses the Objective-C runtime, allowing C, Objective-C, C++ and Swift code to run within a single program. This swift bacon ranch chicken has come to be a favorite of my coders and it is easy to make which is a win win! Plus it is only 5 ingredients!

Ingredients:
8 chicken thighs
8 oz panko bread crumbs
12 oz ranch dressing
dried parsley flakes
1 cup chopped bacon pieces

Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with pan spray.

Fill a medium bowl or dish with the panko. Mix in the parsley flakes. Fill another dish with the ranch dressing. Make sure the dishes are slightly larger than your chicken thighs.

Dip the entire chicken thigh into the ranch dressing. Make sure it is completely coated or else the panko won’t stick.

Coat the chicken thigh in the panko and parsley mixture.

Repeat with all chicken thighs. Sprinkle the chopped bacon on top of the chicken thighs.

Bake for 30-45 minutes depending on the size of your chicken. Make sure chicken reaches 165 F. My thighs were huge! My chicken took exactly 45 minutes.

Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with more bacon and parsley if desired. Serve with your favorite sides.
