Ingredients:
2 lbs fresh cranberries
1/2 cup red wine or brandy
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 oranges, zested and juiced
1 teaspoon ginger

Zest the oranges. I used my Zester from Crisp Cooking I received while I was the International Food Bloggers Conference in Seattle. It is a 4 in 1 product and I absolutely love it! I used the big zester for the cranberry sauce, I want to see the orange pieces!

Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine.

Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours, or until the cranberries have popped open and the sauce is bubbly. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Add more sugar or spices to taste as you prefer. Serve warm or cold!
