Abstract Chorizo a la Vodka Sauce
Wow your friends and family with a creative twist on this classic dish. After you nail down your abstract classes, Chorizo closures and class hierarchy don’t forgot about polymorphism. “Your Boris Yeltsin Sauce.”
4 lbs of Chorizo
1 Head of garlic, chopped
1 Onion, Chopped
1/4 to 1/2 Cup Vodka (I used Skyy)
3 Tablespoons Basil, Black Pepper and Caldo de Pollo
12 ounces Diced Tomatoes with Juice
24 Ounces Tomato Sauce
1 1/4 Cups Heavy Cream
Cooked Pasta of Choice
1. Brown chorizo in a large pot.
2. Once meat is cooked add onion, garlic, vodka and spices. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
3. Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Let simmer for 1-2 hours.
4. Before serving add cream. Mix sauce and pour over your favorite pasta.
